The City of Orlando is nicknamed "The City Beautiful," and its symbol is the fountain at Lake Eola. Orlando is also known as "The Theme Park Capital of the World" and in 2014 its tourist attractions and events drew more than 62 million visitors. 1. Gator land: is famous for the iconic symbol of Florida “Alligators’’. You should start your trip early in the morning as entire day is not enough to see this place. You can see other wild life, go for tram tour and Zip line and there’s also a splash park for children.
2. Island Of Adventure: - One of the best places for thrill rides. Harry potter ride is a must. You can buy an express pass to avoid long queue (it doesn’t work for harry potter ride though).
3. Cocoa Beach – this white sand beach is for surfing (June and July are calmer though). Dinosaur Store is quite popular among kids.
4. Downtown Disney: - Also known as Disney Springs is an eclectic mix of shopping, dining and entertainment complex at the Walt Disney World Resort.
5. Old Time: - This place shows historic side of the city, offering a variety of amusement rides live music etc. you can do shopping from classic merchandise and see variety of old vintage cars. Do remember to visit the famous “Arabian Nights” for the dinner theater show.
6. City Walk: - one of the nightlife centers with various hot spot like Rising Star karaoke bar, Hard Rock Cafe, multiplex movie theater, beautiful lake side view and live music.
7. International Drive (I-Drive) – is the city's main tourist strip. Sky diving, Helicopter ride, Titanic experience and the famous Upside Down building are the best!
8. Fun Spot:- located on the I-Drive this family theme park offer coasters multi level Go-Karts, thrill rides, family rides, an arcade midway and special events.
9. Kennedy Space Center: - Historic landmark of NASA program. Guided tour is recommended.
10. Disney World: Don’t forget to keep your camera and Express Pass.
